Environmental Policy Statement

As one of the largest operators within the Hilton portfolio of brands and stewards of the environment, we're committed to reducing our carbon footprint, consumption of water resources and waste production.

Hilton LightStay™

The proprietary Hilton LightStay™ program is the foundation of reducing our environmental impact. LightStay™ measures energy and water use as well as waste and carbon output. Our properties use LightStay™ to define our impact and set benchmarks for improvement. The system analyzes performance across 200 operations, such as housekeeping, paper product usage, food waste, chemical storage, air quality and transportation.

Carbon Reduction 

We're combatting the threat of climate change by implementing energy efficient programs across our portfolio and modernizing our facilities with LED lighting, high-efficiency HVAC systems and energy-efficient appliances.

Water Consumption 

We've focused our water consumption initiatives on behavioral changes and updates to our facilities. Through the use of efficient technology, we reduce water consumption, implement water recapture where available and reduce our impact on the water resources surrounding our properties.

Waste Reduction 

We're moving toward eliminating single-use plastics, including plastic straws, at our properties. We also use recycled and biodegradable materials throughout resort operations. Most excitingly, through our partnership with Hilton and Clean the World, we recycle hygiene products like leftover soap and donate it to communities in need worldwide. 

Supplier Requirements 

As part of our procurement process, we mandate that our suppliers share our values and operate by our sustainability standards. 

Auditing and Improvement 

We use LightStay™ data to perform detailed monthly and annual audits of our environmental projects and regularly engage with our guests, team members and shareholders to further our initiatives to protect the environment.
